In the summer of 1995, right before my freshman year, I was in a pioneer pageant produced by Merrill Osmond. The cast was composed of children and teenagers from Utah County and Sanpete County, but it was only performed in Sanpete.

I played the parts of a Mormon pioneer and a Spanish Missionary, Father Escalante. It was kind of neat working with people who don't live in the same place as I did, and the best part was that the person assigned to play the other Spanish Missionary, Father Dominguez, was also named Brad.

I really enjoyed it and I met a lot of great people.
