CONCERT CHOIR
SOLO ENSEMBLE
I have been a member of the bass section of my high school's Concert Choir since the beginning of my sophomore year. I have enjoyed it and I have learned a lot about the dynamics of singing. The best part about Concert Choir is that in order to be in it, students have to try out with the director. That helps cut down on people who take choir to get an easy "A". The only people in it are people who take it because they actually like to sing.
Last year, a friend and I competed in a solo and ensemble competition. We sang a tenor/bass duet entitled "Simple Gifts". It was a great experience and it taught me a lot about singing competition.
