In the fall of 1995, my freshman year, the musical was "West Side Story". When I walked across that stage to try out, I was so nervous I could barely sing. I pulled it off somehow, and was cast as Arab, a member of the Jets.

I really enjoyed "West Side Story" and I learned a lot about acting, singing, and dancing. But, more importantly, I also learned a lot about working together as a team. I think of all the musicals and plays I've been in, "West Side Story" is still my favorite.
